About our CEO and Founder -
Mike Van Nguyen
While earning his bachelor's degree from the University of Economics in Ho Chi Minh City, Mike's desire to ignite a career in travel began to burn. Beginning as a guide while still a student he soon landed a position with top Canadian luxury travel operator, Butterfield & Robinson, and the next fifteen years were spent leading tours across Vietnam and Cambodia where he carved his own niche in luxury, active travel. As a result, he knows Southeast Asia like few others and having developed a sixth sense for the needs and expectations of the high-end traveller, began Ansova in 2009. Mike sees the company as a vehicle for sharing his passion for discovery and creating experiences that are authentic, immersive and unique.
